Cottey College has a summer residential program (June 9 - 15) for girls entering the 10 - 12 grades and who are interested in learning more about science, leadership, or fine arts. The registration fee is $450. For more information, see Mrs. Naas.
Reminder to A+ students: Please note that one of the requirements of your A+ Contract is 95% attendance in grades 9 - 12. 95% attendance for the school year 2012 - 2013 means missing no more than 9 days (4 1/2 per semester). Questions? See Mrs. Naas.

8th Grade students need to have proof of TDap booster shot.
Dress code reminder - All shirts must have sleeves and jeans must be of solid material above the knee (no holes). Cleavage must be covered, shorts, skirts, and dresses must not be shorter than 2 inches above the knee. All clothing must be school appropriate and display no emblems promoting tobacco, drugs, alcohol, gangs, weapons, or sexual innuendos (complete dress code is in the student handbook). If you have to wonder if it is school appropriate, it probably isn't.
When you arrive at school, you are expected to come in to the building and report to the music room for supervision purposes (or the cafeteria if you eat breakfast). If you do not want to come in to the building, then do not arrive on the parking lot until time for school to start. It is a safety issue.
Friendly Reminders:REMINDER that you are NOT to wear caps/hats during school in buildings! If seen on you, they will be taken! Cell phones are to be OFF during school hours! Students are NOT to be in the big gym after school or on weekends without a specific purpose and teacher/coach/adult supervision.
Students are NOT to be on facebook, myspace, myyearbook or ANY social network site! This includes any chat options. School computers are for education purposes only and are to be used when needed for school projects. Students who are on any of the restricted sites will lose ALL computer privileges.
Remember to sign in/out if you are entering a class late or
leaving during class.
Students need to wear basketball shoes or clean gym shoes for PE Class. Students are NOT to wear street shoes on the gym floor during PE or at any time.
Mrs. Naas has a suggestion box outside her door. If you have a message that you would like to leave for her, please fill out a slip and drop it in the locked box.
If you have lost your student planner and would like to purchase a new one for $5, they are now available in Mrs. Naas' office.
No planner? No pass to leave class.
