Important Information for NRTC Students
NRTC Classes Begin Thursday, August 23!!

Northeast Vernon County students start school on August 30. NRTC classes, however, begin on Thursday, August 23. It is essential that you attend all NRTC classes beginning on August 23. Those first days of class establish all safety procedures and requirements that allow you to participate in all additional “hands on” activities.
A bus will run to the NRTC campus daily beginning August 23. The bus will leave the high school campus in Walker at 8:30 a.m. and return to Walker around noon. You are responsible for transportation to and from the high school campus during this first week. Attendance is mandatory and students who do not begin NRTC classes on time will be dropped from the program and put in alternate classes at Northeast.
There may be other days throughout the school year when NRTC is not in session, and Northeast has classes, which you will not be required to attend. Attending NRTC is a privilege and we want all our students who are attending NRTC to be successful. Please continue to take advantage of the program and be here on August 23rd at 8:30 a.m.

Please remember NRTC students are required to ride the bus to NRTC and students must maintain a “C” average to remain in the program.
